Company Background
Winsider Seminars & Solutions, Inc. was established in 2009 by Alex Ionescu as a spiritual successor to David Solomon Expert Seminars, the first and only original Windows Internals training company co-founded by industry veterans David Solomon and Mark Russinovich. Based on the original training catalogue that David entrusted upon Alex, Winsider continues to teach content to industry partners worldwide, both in enterprise and government, as well as offer a set of public courses at renowned top-notch cybersecurity conferences.
Winsider also continues its involvement in the Windows Internals series, now having reached its 7th Edition, as well as through the development of key Windows tools used by experts worldwide, such as the award-winning System Informer system utility (previously known as Process Hacker). Additionally, Winsider works closely as a consultant with multiple industry partners in the areas of system design and operating system security. In 2019, Yarden Shafir joined Winsider as a co-partner, bringing in an additional decade of relevant development and reverse engineering experience in the Windows security space.
In short, if you are looking for instructors who both have the programming chops to help your developers make the right decisions in their projects, as well as the security and reverse-engineering knowledge to help your organization avoid costly mistakes by learning how to both defend and exploit others’ (both in a forensic, malware analysis, and offensive development context), you’ve come to the right place. With a solid mastery of the English and French languages, and a command of the audience’s attention through years of experience from public speaking engagements and personal coaching, there simply is no substitute.
